Who we are
Imgician (“we”, “us”) provides free online image tools at imgician.com. For privacy questions, contact write@imgician.com.
Image processing (the important part)
Imgician’s compress, resize, convert, edit, watermark, background-removal, and print-sheet tools are designed to run in your web browser. When you select an image, it is processed locally on your device for that session. Background-removal AI model files may download to your browser once (cached locally); your photos are still not uploaded to Imgician for processing.
- We do not upload your images to Imgician servers for processing.
- We do not store, view, or sell the photos or files you edit in the tools.
- When you leave or refresh the page, in-browser working copies are discarded with the page session (unless you download and save them yourself).
You remain responsible for the images you choose to process and for how you use the downloaded results.
Information we may collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may process:
- Contact form / email — name, email address, and message content you send us, used only to respond and improve support.
- Technical / usage data — standard web logs or analytics such as pages visited, approximate location derived from IP, browser type, and device type, used to keep the site reliable and understand aggregate traffic.
- Cookies or similar tech — used by hosting, analytics, advertising (see below), or form providers for basic site function, security, traffic measurement, and/or showing ads.
We do not use your tool images as a data source for advertising profiles.
Advertising
Imgician may show ads through Google AdSense (and related Google advertising services). Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including personalized or non-personalized ads depending on your region and consent settings. This can involve collecting device and usage data under Google’s policies — not your tool images.

Contact form
If you submit the contact form or email us, we use the details you provide to reply. Form submissions may be processed by a third-party form provider acting on our behalf. Don’t send passwords or highly sensitive personal data through the form.
Third-party services
The site may rely on infrastructure and services such as hosting, DNS, form handling, fonts, analytics, and advertising (including Google AdSense). Those providers process data under their own privacy terms, limited to what’s needed to deliver their service.
Legal bases (where applicable)
Where privacy laws like the GDPR apply, we rely on legitimate interests (running and securing a free website), consent (where we ask for it), and/or performance of a request you initiate (responding to your message).
Data retention
Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and maintain basic records. Analytics data is retained according to the provider’s settings, usually in aggregate form. Tool images are not retained by us.
Your choices
- Use the tools without creating an account.
- Email us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal data you sent via contact channels, where applicable.
- Control cookies through your browser settings.
Children
Imgician is a general-audience tool. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children for marketing. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product or laws change. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the site after changes means you acknowledge the updated policy.
