Merge PDF
Reorder with the arrows — pages merge in this order.

Merge order
Files combine top-to-bottom into a single PDF. Add at least two files to begin.
Split mode
Drop a PDF to see its page count.
Target size
Pages are re-rendered and recompressed toward this size — best for scans and photo-heavy PDFs. Text stops being selectable in the result.
Output
Every page renders as a separate JPG. One-page PDFs download as a single image; multi-page PDFs download as a ZIP.

About this tool
Merge two PDFs
Merge two PDFs when you only have a pair of files — a cover letter and a résumé, a form and an ID scan, or two chapters. Add both, pick which comes first, and download one document.
- Built for the common “just two files” case (add more if you want).
- Swap order before merging.
- Private — nothing leaves your browser.
- Free with no watermark.
How it works
- Add your first PDF, then the second.
- Put them in the right order.
- Cast the spell.
- Download the merged file.
FAQs
PDF questions, answered
Straight answers about merging, splitting, and keeping your documents private.
How do I merge PDF files for free?
Open Merge PDF, add two or more files, drag them into order with the arrows, then cast the spell. Your merged PDF downloads straight from the browser — nothing is uploaded.
Can I change the order of pages before merging?
Yes. Reorder whole files with the up/down arrows in the file list — files merge top-to-bottom into the final PDF.
Is there a limit to how many PDFs I can merge?
There’s no server-side cap since everything runs on your device. Very large or numerous files may just take longer, depending on your browser and computer.
Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?
No. Merge, split, and page extraction all run in your browser using pdf-lib — your documents are never uploaded to Imgician’s servers and we don’t store the files you process.
Is Imgician’s PDF toolkit free?
Can I also turn images into a PDF?
Yes — that lives with the image tools: use the image to PDF converter to turn one or more photos into a PDF, optionally compressed to a target KB.
Does merging or splitting reduce PDF quality?
No. Pages are copied as-is from the source PDF into the new file — nothing is re-rendered or re-compressed, so text and images keep their original quality.
Will this work with password-protected PDFs?
Encrypted or password-protected PDFs may fail to open. Remove the password in the app that created it first, then merge or split the unprotected file here.
