FAQs
PDF questions, answered
Straight answers about merging, splitting, and keeping your documents private.
How do I convert a PDF to JPG?
Open PDF to JPG, drop your PDF, then cast the spell. Each page renders as a JPG — a single-page PDF downloads one image, multi-page PDFs download a ZIP.
Can I convert just one page of a PDF?
Use Extract PDF pages first to pull out the page you want, then convert that single-page PDF to JPG here.
Is converting a PDF to an image private?
Yes. Pages are rendered to images entirely in your browser using pdf.js — your PDF is never uploaded.
Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?
No. Merge, split, and page extraction all run in your browser using pdf-lib — your documents are never uploaded to Imgician’s servers and we don’t store the files you process.
Is Imgician’s PDF toolkit free?
Can I also turn images into a PDF?
Yes — that lives with the image tools: use the image to PDF converter to turn one or more photos into a PDF, optionally compressed to a target KB.
Does merging or splitting reduce PDF quality?
No. Pages are copied as-is from the source PDF into the new file — nothing is re-rendered or re-compressed, so text and images keep their original quality.
Will this work with password-protected PDFs?
Encrypted or password-protected PDFs may fail to open. Remove the password in the app that created it first, then merge or split the unprotected file here.
